So my first year of teaching is... done! I learned so much from my school, my team, my students, and myself. I am very pleased that I will be teaching 2nd grade again, in the same room. I spent the last 4 days rearranging my room and cleaning it for next year. It was a very bitter sweet ending to a year. I wasn't sure if I should be excited, overwhelmed, shocked, or sad about my first year being over.
I will be working in the school this summer doing before care during summer school but I will beginning my own adventure this summer in the National Writing Project. I am very nervous but excited about this journey I will be a part of. I think I will learn a bunch, be stressed out more, and walk away with the most.
For my own sake (to digest things better) for the sake of people who are interested in what I'm doing in the writing project, I will be trying to post daily on the writing project and maybe even some pictures to come follow.
