Setting Up Classroom

Monday and today (Tuesday) I have been opening boxes and organizing my classroom. I forgot to take pictures of what it looked like when I walked in Monday morning, but I am attaching pictures of what it looked like after Monday damage. I will post pictures from today and tomorrow, tomorrow. I hope that by noon tomorrow I will get to start decorating and not organizing.

Monday: When I walked in, I had all desks, 10 foot metal bookshelf, 25 boxes, and 2 long tables piled in the middle. I had a kidney table near the back with about 20 boxes on it. My friend and I started by arranging my room where I wanted stuff as much we could, then unloaded the boxes. Mom arrived in Kansas City over lunch break. We brought in a couple loads at a time and made a lot of progress.

Today (Tuesday): Mom and I worked hard, but were side tracked, went shopping for some things and were surprised by my aunt and uncle being in Kansas City for car parts, stopped by to see my classroom (retired teachers!) We worked a lot today, and with one really hard day tomorrow, I think I will have MOST of my room complete. I have a meeting first thing in the morning with grade level,  but hope to stay productive all day! I want to get to the fun stuff! Decorations!! :-)
